SGCPC's NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING CZMP
TUESDAY, MARCH 13, 2012, 7 PM, LOCH RAVEN HIGH SCHOOL

Sign up to speak starting at 6 PM: This is your opportunity to speak up to protect the rural character and rural resources of northern Baltimore County. Let the Planning Board know that you support zoning that will protect the rivers and streams, the forests and open spaces. Protective zoning will help farming stay in northern Baltimore County and keep farmland from being converted into housing developments. Protective zoning will protect the beautiful views along the NCR Trail, and keep people coming to area rivers to fish. Protective zoning will keep our area green and beautiful! Speak in favor of Issues 3-014, 3-015 and 3-021. Each speaker is given 2 minutes to speak.

GET INVOLVED! HELP DEFINE THE CHARACTER OF YOUR COMMUNITY!

SPARKS-GLENCOE COMMUNITY PLANNING COUNCIL MEETING

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14, 2012
7 PM SPARKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Please join us to hear representatives from MD Environmental Trust discuss Land Preservation.

FEBRUARY MEETING TOPICS:

The Archdiocese of Baltimore has asked the County to change the zoning on 220 acres on Belfast Road. How will their plans affect this gateway into northern Baltimore County?

The State of Maryland has adopted a land use plan called Plan Maryland. Can this Plan help us protect the rural character and natural resources of northern Baltimore County? Does the Plan take away local authority as some have alleged?

Representatives of the Archdiocese and of the State Planning Dept. will give presentations on these issues at our next meeting.
